1. Our No-Logs Commitment

VertexVPN operates under a strict no-logs policy. We do not collect, store, or share any of the following:

  • Browsing history or visited websites
  • Traffic data or content of your communications
  • DNS queries
  • IP addresses (your real IP or the VPN server IP you connect to)
  • Connection timestamps or session durations
  • Bandwidth usage statistics

Since we do not log your activity, we have no data to share with third parties, advertisers, or government entities.

2. Information We May Collect

To operate and improve the App, we may collect limited, non-identifying information:

2.1 App Configuration Data

Server configurations you add (such as VLESS links) are stored locally on your device only, encrypted with AES-256-GCM. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

2.2 Technical Diagnostics

In the event of a crash or critical error, the App may generate anonymized diagnostic data (e.g., device model, Android version, error codes). This data does not include any personally identifiable information or browsing activity.

2.3 App Store & Distribution

If you download VertexVPN from a third-party app store or distribution platform, that platform may collect data according to its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their policies.

3. VPN Permissions

VertexVPN requires certain Android permissions to function:

  • VPN Service Permission: Required to create and manage the VPN tunnel for routing your internet traffic.
  • Camera Permission (optional): Used only for scanning QR codes to import server configurations. Camera data is processed locally and never transmitted.
  • Notification Permission: Used to display VPN connection status in your notification bar.

No permission is used to collect or transmit personal data.

4. Third-Party Services

VertexVPN does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Your device communicates only with the VPN server you have configured.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share any user data with third parties. Since we collect virtually no data, there is nothing to share.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect the App and your data:

  • AES-256-GCM encryption for all locally stored configuration data
  • Modern VPN protocols with strong cryptographic standards
  • Kill Switch feature to prevent accidental data exposure if the VPN disconnects

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

VertexVPN is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
